The DBA10 Subwoofer is a great choice to enhancing bass response when you are retro-fitting an existing home. It installs into one of our 10” Director Bayonet Rings and hides behind a micro-perforated magnetic grille. With its massive magnet and woven glass-fiber cone, it produces true, room filling, bass without the need for enclosed box.

The DBA10 is all held together by a massive rolled rubber cone, and it’s needed. The heavy magnet we chose for this line would tear a regular surround apart. Needless to say, this sub really moves air.

Only audible worthy bass frequencies pass through the port of the DSUB6 from the bandpass to deliver a powerful listening experience. This ensures power is strictly utilized in creating the true fidelity low-end output.

Two high-density polypropylene woofers sit across from one another inside of the subwoofer enclosure. As a result, the output is enhanced while distortion and cabinet vibrations are significantly reduced.

Origin Acoustics® Director 8" In-Ceiling Subwoofer

Our Director In-Ceiling Subwoofers contain dual poly/rubber woofers, mounted in a sturdy MDF box. The frequencies they create are then filtered by the port and port-tube into the room through a matching Director Grille. This method ensures that only pure, deep bass tones are passed into the room. The DSUB8 features a wider port-tube, which allows even lower, more powerful frequencies to resonate.

The Director DSUB8 contains two heavy-duty poly/rubber subwoofer cones, internally mounted. These two woofers contain more than 3x the surface area of our DUB6's, which means they move more air, more efficiently. The result, the type of low-end volume and frequencies that a 12" floor-standing subwoofer would typically create.

Our Director Subwoofers are designed to be fully functional, self-contained passive subwoofers. They install securely to ceiling joists, but can also be used in cabinets, trucks, or pretty much anywhere else you can think of. The bandpass port-tube and sturdy construction reduce noise transfer, so the only thing left rattling at high-volume will be your ribcage.

Origin Acoustics® Deep 12" Subwoofer

The Deep Collection of subwoofers uses high-quality high-efficiency amplifiers. Standard controls include crossover, phase, volume, and auto-on.

Use this knob to set the highest bass frequency the subwoofer will play, from 50 to 150 Hz. If you’re using an AV receiver or surround-sound processor, set this knob at 150 and use the crossover built into the receiver or processor. If the subwoofer is installed in a stereo system, set this knob as close as possible to the lowest rated bass extension of the main left and right speakers.

Use this knob to adjust the phase of the subwoofer relative to the main speakers. This will help achieve a smoother blend of the sound of the subwoofer and the main speakers. To adjust it, sit in the chair or couch where you usually listen, and play some bass-heavy music with the phase knob set to 0. Now play the same music with the knob set to 180. If you hear a difference, experiment with different settings until the bass sounds smoothest from your chair.

This knob adjusts the subwoofer’s volume. Turn it clockwise for full volume. Note that the subwoofer level control in an AV receiver will also affect how loud the subwoofer plays. With most AV receivers, setting this knob at about halfway up (the 12 o’clock position) will provide a volume level that allows the subwoofer’s level to be matched with that of the main speakers.

This switch functions only when the power switch is set to “on.” When this switch and the power switch are both set to “on,” the subwoofer’s power will always be on. When this switch is set to “auto,” the subwoofer’s power will come on automatically when it senses an incoming audio signal. If there is no signal for 15-18 minutes, the subwoofer will automatically shut off.

Connect the subwoofer to a receiver or preamp using an RCA interconnect cable, not included. The sub can either be connected to a dedicated LFE output or subwoofer output using a single mono cable or, by using a “Y” adapter, to a stereo, adjustable line level output. A fixed line level output is not appropriate as the subwoofer level will not change to follow the adjustments in system output level.

This passive diaphragm reacts to the changing air pressure within the cabinet, virtually doubling your woofer's ability to create sound without drawing additional power. As a result, even smaller cabinets like these can create impactful low frequencies.

Our brushed hybrid finish is durable and easy on the eyes. This thick, textured wrap looks and feels much more luxurious than the standard vinyl finishes you might see in other subwoofers at this price point.

The CSUB10NCE is made of dense aluminum for optimal airspace and features foam-lining Anti-Vibration Control to optimize the low resounding performance of the CSUB10N 10" New Construction In-Wall Subwoofer.

Besides durability and a superior low resonance frequency, aluminum is extremely efficient at dissipating high temperatures from the voice coil and magnet of a subwoofer. This allows the fast-moving aluminum cone to oscillate with more linearity, allowing for a substantial gain in output efficiency (SPL) while preserving the integrity of the music being produced.

The CSUB10NCE New Construction Subwoofer Enclosure features a progressive suspension mounting system to allow for enough give for a powerful performance while eliminating disruptions from the surrounding drywall.
